[Editorial Feature] Enhancing threats on security…effective system construction for information security is ‘seriously needed’.

Due to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack occurred on July 7^th 2009, concerns regarding information security have remarkably risen last year. Enhancing the importance of vaccine as basic security solution is considered to be corresponds to 7·7 DDos attack. DDoS attack expects to be continued in 2010. 7·7 incident characterized the idea that DDoS is useful at threatening enterprises and that it is at high-risk. Therefore, enterprises will demand such security countermeasures like DDoS designated equipment, or DDoS roundabout service. DDoS designated solution and roundabout service were bit hits after 7·7, and they are expected to be a continuing trend in 2010 as well. DLP market is also a noticeable issue in 2010. As the number of subscribers to new services like Smartphone and VoIP is increasing and as they gain popularity, the attacks specifically aimed at them will be at high risk. Thus, security issue-related participants propose their opinions on setting up appropriate plan. The companies will introduce the most talked-about security techniques, such as integration security, web security, VoIP security, managing account rights and effective countermeasure for DDoS attack.
